About Mission Bay Dental

Mission Bay Dental is a dentist in San Diego, California. It is listed at 1324 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109, which places it among the local businesses of San Diego that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I really dig this spot! I was seen immediately at my appt. time, the front desk gal was super kind as well as all the other staff I interacted with along the way. I also felt like the Dentist was super informative and seemed to care about giving me all of my options instead of just one option that involves immediate surgery

Mission Bay Dental is the best. Dr. Mansour and her team are efficient, hospitable and provide an all around wonderful experience. I originally came to Dr. Mansour after I felt I was getting scammed by another dentist told me I needed several crowns. I came to Mission Bay Dental for a second opinion. Dr. Mansour not only confirmed I didn’t need a crown; she also confirmed I didn’t even need a filling. She is knowledgeable, honest, personable and a pure professional. 10/10 recommend.

During a regularly scheduled check-up & cleaning Dr. Kim went out of her way to uncover an issue which she figured out and we were then able to discuss the options that would best make sense for me and my situation. Her diligence, willingness to go above & beyond with professionalism and care was impressive. For 4 years Mission Bay Dental has been a very good dentist office for me and I am grateful for Dr. Kim!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I came in for a routine cleaning and was told I needed 4 cavities filled between my teeth. After the fillings were done, I had severe pain and sensitivity that lasted for months. I returned to the office to have it addressed, but even after they attempted to adjust the fillings, the pain continued. I saw another dentist who told me the fillings were not done correctly and now has to redo all of them. I never expected such a routine procedure to be handled so poorly. The office is also extremely small and did not seem clean. I would strongly advise going somewhere else.

Have been going to Mission Bay Dental for at least 20 years. Dr. Mansour is fantastic! I’ve had some complicated orthodontic work done that she’s helped support with custom appliances. Her team is so friendly as well.
